Oh, Hello Little One

Once called a trans allegory by a friend, this five page zine follows a salamander as it lives in the forest and undergoes an eldritch horror-esque transformation into a mildly terrifying creature very far removed from its original form.

The idea originated from the feeling of intense change, of events so traumatic that it rewrites one’s entire identity, reshifts their way of thinking and causes them to lose their sense of self and person-hood, forcing them to pick up the pieces and reconstruct themselves from scratch.
